Does Eating Organic Matter? Pharmacist And Nutrition Guru Dr. Navid Vahedi Explains

Like many people, you want the healthiest foods possible for your family… but you don’t want to spend a fortune. Good news: according to pharmacist and health guru Dr. Navid Vahedi, you don’t have to go organic all the time in order to eat healthy.

First, Dr. Navid Vahedi says that it’s important to get a handle on what it means for a food to be grown organically. The USDA has strict standards for organic foods, and regularly tests the soil in the areas in which organic foods are grown. The soil must be free of most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, and the crops cannot be genetically modified. Organically grown foods are also better for the environment, as they add fewer chemicals to the soil. Organic farms are often also committed to animal wellness and sustainable farming practices.

Dr. Navid Vahedi explains that going organic for certain foods is more important than others. Organic foods are often more expensive than traditionally grown foods, so if you’re on a budget, Dr. Navid Vahedi recommends sticking organic items for a handful of foods, while sticking to conventionally grown options for others.

Dr. Navid Vahedi

Dr. Navid Vahedi recommends paying attention to the dirty dozen when it comes to choosing the foods that are most important to choose the organic option whenever it’s available. The dirty dozen refers to a list of foods that are most likely to harbor pesticides and fertilizers than other produce. The dirty dozen list includes hot peppers, potatoes, celery, tomatoes, peaches, cherries, pears, grapes, apples, nectarines, kale, spinach, and strawberries. Dr. Navid Vahedi advises that you choose organic dirty dozen items whenever possible.

It’s also important to pay attention to the clean fifteen, according to Dr. Navid Vahedi. When buying these foods, it’s ok to choose conventional over organic, as these items are less likely to hang onto pesticides and fertilizers. The clean fifteen include honeydew, mushrooms, cantaloupe, broccoli, cauliflower, kiwis, cabbage, asparagus, papayas, eggplant, onions, frozen peas, avocados, corn, and pineapples. It’s still important to wash these fruits and vegetables carefully, even though they’re not as likely to harbor chemicals acquired during the farming process.

Of course, Dr. Navid Vahedi recommends eating produce whenever possible, even if eating organic isn’t an option. The health benefits of fruits and vegetables are there whether you choose to eat organically or not. Eating a diet rich in conventionally grown produce beats a diet loaded with organic junk food, no question. Dr. Navid Vahedi advises that you focus on ensuring that your family is getting at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day, whether you choose to eat organic or not.

The 3 Most Valuable Classic Cars You Can Own Today – Dr. Navid Vahedi Weighs In

How much would you be willing to spend on a mint-condition classic car? In the past decade, the market for classic cars has exploded. Vintage, up-cycling, retro – whatever you want to call it, classic is in. Popularity, along with lower interest rates than ever before, raised the prices of certain classic cars drastically.

“The price is driven up by a multitude of factors,” says Dr. Navid Vahedi. “Rarity, any special features or limited releases, the condition of the car, how many owners it’s had, if anyone famous owned it or a car of the same make and model… it’s the same as any collector’s item really. But instead of keeping it in plastic in your house, you get to drive it.”

  1. The Aston Martin DBR1 ($25 million)

“The Aston Martin DBR1 has a 2.5 liter, 6-cylinder alloy racing engine with 212 HP. In 1959 the car won the 1000 km race of Nurburgring. Stirling Moss and Carrol Shelby – both famous British race car drivers – drove this particular car,” explains Dr. Navid Vahedi. That, alongside the gorgeous build and color of the car, makes it a collector’s dream according to the classic car enthusiast. This car sold at auction for about $25 million in 2017. The sale made it the most expensive British classic car ever sold.

  1. Mercedes-Benz W196 ($33 million)

“In 1954 and 1955, this make and model was the Mercedes Formula 1 car. It won both Formula 1 championships and it was driven by popular race car drivers Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio,” explains Dr. Navid Vahedi. Apparently it was the only vehicle with mechanical direct fuel injection – very advanced technology for its time. With an 8-cylinder engine, it eventually produced 340 HP after a lot of experimentation. It was bought at auction by a private owner for a stunning $33 million in 2013.

“You can only imagine the pleasure of owning and driving that car,” says Dr. Navid Vahedi wistfully.

  1. Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta ($43 million)

“There are 39 Ferraris in the GTO class,” explains Dr. Navid Vahedi. This one is the 17th. It has a 3-liter V12 engine and was designed by Carrozzeria Scaglietti.

“It’s not a restored car,” enthuses Dr. Navid Vahedi. “It’s a maintained car. It was used to race all its life and kept in top-notch condition. Hillclimbs, races, tours – it’s been active and driven since 1962!” This little red beauty was sold at auction in 2014 and set the record for the most expensive car ever publicly sold at around $43 million.

“And you have to remember, these are just the publicly sold classic cars,” Dr. Navid Vahedi tells us. “We can only imagine the money and cars changing hands privately.”

Dr. Navid Vahedi is a compounding pharmacist, entrepreneur, and classic car enthusiast. He believes that true health and wellness look beyond western medicine and that most diseases can be prevented with proper nutrition and diet.

Navid Vahedi Discusses Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC and the Future of Medicine

Dr. Navid Vahedi of Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC discusses his approach to medical treatment and the future of medicine in the modern world.

Dr. Navid Vahedi and Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC are well-known for their unconventional approach to medicine. Rather than adhering to all of the tenets of Western medicine, which often focus on minimizing symptoms, Dr. Vahedi believes in Functional Medicine. Functional Medicine attempts to treat patients by finding the source of their pain or illness and developing a treatment plan to eliminate the issue.

Dr. Vahedi also uses this mentality at Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC, where he and a team of researchers are developing the next generation of medications, vaccines, and cures for various diseases.

How Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC is Changing the Future of Medicine

Here’s what Dr. Navid Vahedi had to say about Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC and its role in the future of medicine:

  • “The world of healthcare is changing rapidly, but many institutions are putting up unnecessary barriers for drug and disease researchers. At Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC, we believe in safe, effective drug research. However, we also believe in getting results. Sometimes this means going against the grain and trying new methods that other pharmaceuticals companies are too traditional to attempt.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “With respect to Functional Medicine, I genuinely believe that Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC is leading the way in the United States and the world at large. We have the technology and expertise to develop medicine at the same level of any of the largest pharmaceutical companies, but we choose to focus on finding the source of disease and stamping it out. This is the mentality that we use every day to develop the medications and treatments of tomorrow.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “Naturally, COVID-19 is going to forever change the way we look at healthcare, especially preventative care. It shows that sticking to the status quo will not work going forward. We need to be prepared for the next COVID-19 and we can only be prepared if we are willing to try new forms of medical research and development.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC is developing new medications at an unprecedented rate. We hope to have some life-saving drugs on the market within the year. If all goes as planned, other pharmaceutical companies will follow or model and develop drugs that treat the disease, not just the symptoms.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals INC is not just a business. We focus on progress and patient care with everything we do. This is my passion. Helping others is not just a hobby; it is a public service and a necessity in the modern world. If we can help move Western healthcare toward Functional Medicine, we will end up improving the lives and well-being of millions.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

Dr. Navid Vahedi: Functional Medicine in the Age of Covid-19

Dr. Navid Vahedi is a functional medicine specialist with years of experience fighting many types of diseases. The current Covid-19 pandemic has him very worried, but he believes that functional medicine may help. By changing your diet and focusing on healthier foods, he believes that people can control their potential infection of this dangerous disease.

A Discussion of Functional Medicine By Dr. Navid Vahedi

Functional medicine is a treatment that can manage a myriad of different conditions, as discussed by Dr. Navid Vahedi. As a specialist in functional medicine, he has provided alternative treatment methods beyond traditional care to provide more specific and appropriate treatments for a person’s needs. The underlying principles of this approach, according to Dr. Navid Vahedi, is to get the body to work against disease on its own.

This method focuses on the ways that the body’s systems are connected. It also pays attention to the importance of food, which Dr. Navid Vahedi is an expert on in functional medicine. He believes that changing the diet can be an effective way of fighting against some symptoms of Covid-19, alongside traditional medical methods that have been shown to work.

These methods are things that Dr. Navid Vahedi has been doing for years to help with other health issues. And he has found that a large number of his clients not only appreciate these alternatives but embrace them quite easily. As a result, Dr. Navid Vahedi discussed these care options recently and helped pinpoint those that are most effective.

Functional Medicine Options for Covid-19

The first step that Dr. Navid Vahedi finds essential to consider is social distancing. Everybody is well aware of this process by now, but it should be done as much as possible. Doing so helps to keep the body healthy and provides people with the chance to utilize a myriad of functional medicine techniques. Dr. Navid Vahedi states that this process should start with the food that you eat every day.

Start by cutting back on processed foods and avoiding unhealthy foods that may suppress your immune system. Dr. Navid Vahedi states that starchy foods – notably those high in sugar – will cause difficulties with your immune system and make it harder to operate. Cut back on your alcohol consumption, Dr. Navid Vahedi says, which can further deplete your immune system operation and make you more open to infection.

Instead, it would help if you were eating natural and unprocessed foods high in anti-viral properties. Dr. Navid Vahedi says you should eat foods such as spinach, dill, onion, oregano, broccoli, oranges, grapefruit, olives, green tea, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, healthy legumes and nuts, tofu, tempeh, and some beef and lamb. Dr. Navid Vahedi states that these foods intensify immune system operation and work well alongside standard Covid-19 care methods.

Dr. Navid Vahedi Talks About the Importance of Proper Nutrition During COVID-19

Dr. Navid Vahedi discusses the ramifications of eating poorly as the COVID-19 virus takes hold worldwide.

Dr. Navid Vahedi is experienced in a wide range of fields — from real estate to neuroscience. This expertise gives him a unique perspective that is lacking among many other “experts” weighing in on the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people are still confused about the best course of action to take. Ultimately, people just want to know how to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

Fortunately, Dr. Navid Vahedi has some sound advice for people worried about their health during the Coronavirus pandemic. Naturally, Dr. Navid Vahedi agrees with the CDC and other organizations that encourage social distancing and avoiding crowds as much as possible. However, Dr. Navid Vahedi offers some additional and unique advice about how and why you should maintain a healthy diet during this crisis.

5 Tips from Dr. Navid Vahedi For Maintaining a Healthy Diet During COVID-19

To help keep you healthy through this crisis, Dr. Navid Vahedi had to this to say about diet and its connection to COVID-19:

  • “It’s been proven that COVID-19 is not just a respiratory disease. It has an effect on just about every part of your body. Even people who don’t have symptoms now may have complications later down the line. This means that maintaining good physical health is one of the best ways to combat the virus from within. Diet and exercise are the two main ways to keep your body strong.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “When I say the word ‘diet,’ people often think that I mean ‘eating less.’ Depending on your current diet, this could be a good idea for you. If you tend to overeat, then reducing your portions is the first step toward improving your diet. Portion-control is one of the hardest aspects of dieting for Americans, but it’s also one of the most important.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “It goes without saying that you should abide by the most common dieting tips: more fruits and vegetables. You should also try to reduce red meat and anything fried. Doing these things will help build the strength of just about every part of your body — from your immune system to your heart and cardiovascular system.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “Sugar is the number one killer right now. Sugar leads to diabetes and obesity. These, in turn, weaken the body and make it more susceptible to a myriad of illnesses. Reducing sugar as much as possible is vital. It’s nearly impossible to cut sugar out of your diet entirely (most fruits have a lot of sugar). However, you should avoid foods and drinks with processed sugar as much as you can.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

  • “What do most people turn to when they’re sick or want to avoid getting sick? Vitamin C. While Vitamin C can only do so much on its own, getting enough vitamins and minerals will keep your immune system running as it should. This is the best way to fight off Coronavirus if you come into contact with the virus.” – Dr. Navid Vahedi

Dr. Navid Vahedi Explores the Real Estate Market

The U.S. economy is not in the best place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has had a negative impact on a number of different industries. However, the real estate market has continued to move forward because of being deemed “essential.” Dr. Navid Vahedi has been investing heavily in the real estate markets, particularly within Texas and Florida.

Dr. Navid Vahedi identifies that even before the pandemic, the real estate market was better for sellers. There was a limited inventory of homes. As such, if a seller chose to sell their home, they typically wouldn’t have to wait long before receiving an offer.

With the pandemic, it has made it even harder to see an inventory. Sellers decided to postpone their plans of selling.

As states, including Florida and Texas, are choosing to open up, Dr. Navid Vahedi is starting to see a change within the real estate market. People are starting to move forward with their lives, including selling their homes. According to the National Association of Realtors, there are more houses on the market now than there were in April.

As an investor, Dr. Navid Vahedi is excited to see the real estate market bouncing back. There are more homes out there, making it easier to have a selection. With more houses, there’s also the possibility of having room for negotiation. Dr. Navid Vahedi explains that when there are multiple homes for sale in the same neighborhood or with similar designs, it makes it easier to play the sellers against one another. The sellers will often reduce their homes in an effort to undercut one another – and that leads to better investment opportunities.

Dr. Navid Vahedi has been keeping a close eye on the market as the panic caused by the pandemic has started to slow down. More people are selling homes. The home values are starting to rise, too. According to the Mortgage Bankers Association*, mortgage applications are on the rise from April to May.

While Dr. Navid Vahedi is still watching the market before diving in, he’s excited to see that there are new opportunities. Although it could still take a few months for the market to get back to where it was in December or January, it is starting to move in the right direction.

Dr. Navid Vahedi is also quick to acknowledge that there’s a reason why he focuses on real estate investments in Texas and Florida. The cost of the homes in many parts of those states is considerably lower than the average throughout the country. With his home in Los Angeles, CA, he is able to see a very different real estate landscape in Texas and Florida than in California. It’s one of the reasons why he got started and why he continues to watch the market closely for his next opportunity.
